AM / FM - look for the difference.
As you can read in the technology section, we use the FM screening technique with FMsix. Some printers and their customers are somewhat reluctant to adopt FM screening as they fear distortions in the final result when one compares Am and FM reproduction of the same design. We deliberately printed the same designs, once using FM twice using AM on a single sheet. From the distance one normally observes looking at packaging, it is very hard to tell which design is printed with which screening technique. Order your copy and judge for yourself, but "play by the rules" and do not use your magnifying glass.
The FMsix Colour Reference Poster
Taking things another step further we created our FMsix Colour Reference Poster. More than 1000 colours are printed onto this sheet using - this time - 7 colours (CMYK and FMsix Orange, FMsix Blue and FMsix Green). But again in one pass!
